About Us
Founded in 2012 borne out of the DKS group, specialising in bespoke joinery manufacturing. Established by Alan and Will Baker, Skirtings R Us is a company built on principles of high quality wood working combined with strong mechanical processing knowledge. As such these assets, and significant plant investment, have allowed Skirtings R Us to grow into a national supplier of MDF skirting board, architrave and accompanying mouldings supplying countless households, contractors, builders, and merchants with customised MDF mouldings.

Price – We are confident in being able to offer a competitively priced product. By highly automating production, and buying large volumes of material, we are able to reduce our costs and offer the most competitive prices you will find online.
Communication – We keep you fully informed every step of the way letting you know when your order is in production, when its been made, and when we have shipped it so you know things are on track.
Imaging – we have put together lots of informative product graphics, videos and photos of the real product in situ to give you the best sense of what the product looks like before making a decision.
Website Convenience – We have structured our website to provide the information or product as clearly, conveniently and logically as possible.
Range – we offer over 60 skirting board designs each with matching architrave, and customisable in a massive range of sizes so you can find the perfect skirting board to suit your project.
Supporting Products – We offer a full range of supporting mouldings like picture rails, dado rails, window boards, door surrounds, plinth blocks and rosettes, so you only have to shop once for all you moulded requirements.
No False Economies – We only offer straight forward pre-primed skirting that work in real life, unlike other online suppliers, that offer false economies like ‘fully finished mouldings’ or ‘skirting covers’. These products are impossible to
transport/install without compromising the finish or strength of the product.
Environment – We can source material. Our MDF can be certified with an FSC chain of custody certificate and a certificate of compliance with British/European Standard numbers (CE marked). We have sourced a water-based
paint, rather than pre-cat and our waste is used to offset our production energy requirements allowing us to significantly reduce our carbon footprint.
Further Knowledge – We offer further support by sharing our extensive knowledge through our help and guides, helping you understand how to choose, remove, install and fit your skirting boards.
